Hundreds of tertiary students in New Zealand are said to be turning to sex to help pay for their education.
The Prostitutes Collective estimates 20% of the country’s 5,000 sex workers are attending university or polytechnic.
A spokeswoman says prostitution can be a quick easy way to make cash, and older sex workers are choosing to study because their job has put them in a good financial position.
