Myspace has decided to delete the page of a convicted burglar from its social networking site. Stan “Pampy” Barre, III, son of convicted political operative, Stan “Pampy” Barre, had his myspace page deleted in the social networking sites’ efforts to rid users who are using its’ site for unsavory purposes.
Mr. Barre was originally charged with first degree burglary, first degree theft, and theft of a firearm. The New Orleans native led the State of Washington’s police force on a high speed chase after committing the crime. When he was captured, he told the police that he was a New Orleans police officer. Upon checking with the authorities, the Sumner police department discovered that he was a deputy civil sheriff in the 1990’s who was let go but was still carrying a badge.
This stunned the Sumner’s police fearing that they had some sort of delusional psychotic under arrest. Mr. Barre plea bargained and later pled guilty to residential burglary which resulted in a three month home detention sentence .
Mr. Barre’s father, Stan “Pampy” Barre, is now awaiting sentencing for his role in looting from a massive energy savings contract that was awarded during former Marc Morial’s reign as Mayor of New Orleans. It seems that this crime family has finally had to pay for some of their criminal activities.
